Concept2 Compatible Apps

The Concept2 Performance Monitor has powerful wireless capabilities and is open platform. This means there are many apps that can connect to it, as well as several apps that work alongside it and that do not need to be directly connected to your erg.

These apps offer a range of additional features and functions, including live and on-demand classes, virtual racing, training programs and more.

Keep Track of Your Workouts

If you’re looking to get the most out of your training, or just want to benchmark your progress, you’ll want to take advantage of all the data that the performance monitor provides to track and analyze your progress. The apps below are some that can help you do so.

  • ErgData (pictured) works with all Concept2 ergs and integrates fully with the Concept2 Online Logbook. You can take part in the Workout of the Day, share your workouts with others and more.
  • Erg Zone tracks your progress and offers both free and paid for training plans.

Improve Your Technique

There are a number of apps that can provide real-time feedback, tracking and guidance to help improve your technique.

  • WodProof offers AI driven technique advice for rowers.
  • RowerUp gives frame by frame rowing technique recommendations. 
  • Asensei (pictured) helps you analyze your performance and provides video coaching tips.
     
MyRow App and Screen

Take a Virtual Class

If you prefer company when erging, or would like to take a live or on-demand virtual class, the following apps offer a group experience.

  • Peloton connects to both the RowErg and BikeErg so you can see your performance onscreen while taking their classes.
  • Regatta Indoor Rowing provides a connected experience with classes for the RowErg, as well as other exercises.
  • FIIT offers classes for the RowErg and BikeErg.
  • Asensei guides you with world class athletes and instructors.
  • MyRow (pictured) gives you streamed rowing classes and tutorials. (Integrated 22" HD touchscreen required).

There are also apps that don’t connect to the Performance Monitor, but you can still follow along with their workouts.

  • Apple Fitness offers video training classes for the RowErg and BikeErg.
EXR App

Explore Virtual Worlds and Games

If you like variety in your workouts or are a gamer at heart, then one of the following apps might be for you. Row or ride along a collection of routes both virtual and real.

  • Kinomap lets you row or ride on thousands of different courses using video.
  • Aviron has several different games to play as well as scenic rowing and live competition.
  • EXR (pictured) enables you to row in a virtual world like the Charles River.
  • ImersU Row lets you row on realistic rowing courses.
  • Holofit uses Virtual Reality goggles to provide a fully immersive experience.
  • Ergatta offers games and scenic rows. (Integrated HD monitor required).

If you use a BikeErg, you can connect to most of the virtual online cycling platforms like Zwift, OpenRoad and MyWhoosh.
 

Connect to Platforms Like Strava

If you use a fitness platform like Strava or Garmin Connect and want to see your Concept2 workouts in there, the easiest way is to use ErgData to send your workouts to the Concept2 Online Logbook. You can then connect your Online Logbook account to send your workouts automatically to several different platforms, including Strava, Garmin Connect, Training Peaks, FitBit and Final Surge.
