On A Regular Basis

Inspect the Cords

There is one drive cord and one bungee cord to inspect. It will be easier if you have another person to help you, and a flashlight can be useful to see damage more clearly.

  1. Move the carriage to the far end of the rail and engage the brake (1) to hold it in place.
  2. Grab the pull bar and slowly pull it all the way out, which should be just past the seat.
  3. While a helper holds it, inspect the entire visible length of the white drive cord, paying careful attention to the section visible between the two halves of the monorail.
  4. While the handle is still extended, take a flashlight look between the two halves of the monorail at the right side. Inspect the bungee cords running back-and-forth through pulleys and inspect it for wear.=
