Using Concept2 Ergs For Injury Rehab

We've heard from many customers over the years who have used a Concept2 Erg to rehabilitate an injury, as well as recuperate from and even prepare for surgery. When rehabilitating an injury or coming back from a surgery, it's important to work at a pace instructed by your medical professionals. Since Concept2 ergs put you in control of the resistance, they are especially well-suited to working at the appropriate pace.

Concept2 ergs can also provide alternate high-quality exercise while you wait for your injury to heal.

The RowErg offers:

  • seated exercise that still puts many muscle groups through a wide range of motion
  • flexibility on the degree of knee bend thanks to the sliding seat: you can fix the seat for no leg compression at all; or use as much slide as is comfortable/allowable for you

SkiErg offers:

  • an arms only workout can be done while sitting on a stool or chair
  • arms and core can be worked while keeping legs straight for minimal leg involvement

BikeErg offers:

  • legs only workout
