Assembly involves:

• Installing the front and rear legs
• Attaching the handlebars, Performance Monitor and crank arm

Concept2's Ben Hickory demonstrates how to replace the crank axle on the BikeErg. Machines made after December 10, 2018 already have the current crank axle design, so this procedure does not apply to machines manufactured after that date.

The device holder comes with all new BikeErgs but can also be retrofitted to older BikeErgs. The device holder holds a wide range of device sizes, from smartphones up to large tablets.

The BikeErg device holder is an optional device that allows you to have a phone or tablet alongside the monitor. If you don't need this, you can remove it and have the monitor centrally mounted instead.
